About the College

Who We Are

We are a private institution of higher education that was established and incorporated by BRELA in 2017. The College is fully registered by NACTE and is recognized by the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MoHCDEC). The courses offered by the College have been approved by health and medical professional organizations like the Health Laboratory Practitioners Council (HLPC), Pharmacy Council, Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT) and other designated bodies. 

The College is managed through a hierarchical organizational structure in which the Board of Directors is the topmost apex of organization. The Board of Directors is advised by the College Advisory Board (CAB) comprised of highly experienced medical experts. The daily management of the College is under the stewardship of the Principal of the College.

What We Do

Competency-based health education and training (CBET)

We provide competency-based education and training (CBET) through observable and measurable performance metrics that learners must attain to be deemed competent and experts. The CBET offered by our college is in compliance with NACTE, Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MoHCDEC) and recognized health professional organizations like the Health Laboratory Practitioners Council (HLPC), Pharmacy Council, Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT) and other designated bodies.

Research & Consultancy

We conduct research and consultancy that is aimed at enhancing the contribution of our College towards improving the health of the people and add value in the following ways: a) to protect the health and wellbeing of students, staff and the wider community, b) increasingly link teaching with research and consultancy, and c) developing alliances and outreach programmes in collaboration with local and global institutions of health and allied sciences.
